    Water-related Climate Change Adaptation

Climate is changing and impacts the water cycle. The effects of climate change on water resources will significantly affect the quality and availability of water, and thus impact key sectors such as agriculture, hydropower and energy production as well as tourism. Adaptation to climate change is urgent. Societies therefore need to develop strategies for adaptation to the changes in water resource availability in space and time. Sustainable water resources management provides the basis for adaptation.
