Working Group on Environmental Research Instruments and Capabilities -
Meeting Friday at CfE.
A meeting will be held Friday, March 31 from 2:30 - 3:45 PM in 300 Rice Hall to identify
critical needs for campus environmental research facilities and instruments and to develop
strategies to achieve highest priorities. The meeting is open to anyone interested. Please email
Paula Euvrard
if you plan to attend and are not on our current attendance list. This allows us to anticipate
meeting size.
National Environmental Observatories: A Discussion of Our Options
The Center is organizing an open discussion on the status and opportunities presented by a series
of national observatory development programs. We are seeking researchers and professors who
have interest and experience with any of the following: National Ecological Observatory
Network (NEON), Consortium of Universities for the Advancement of Hydrologic Science Inc.
(CUAHSI), Collaborative Large-scale Engineering Analysis Network for Environmental
Research (CLEANER), and the Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS). Email Paula
