Describe the PPG activities: Activity 1: Preparation of background documents to be used for the project, particularly preliminarily anaysing socio-economic and environmental implication of water extraction and use, which should serve as basis for developing project activities. Activity 2: Development of pilot site activity proposals in consultation with local proponents and naitonal authorities, through consultation at the national and local levels. Activity 3: Organisation of a meeting to agree on the MSP brief, which will include project M&E plan, specific budget and pilot site proposals. In this three-day meeting, based on the background papers, the three countries will agree on the scope of the MSP and modality of implementation of the project will be discussed and agreed upon. Further, project staekdholers will also be identified.
