Transboundary Cooperation
The Project was conceived as a pilot project at the
national level
and, being the first one to be prepared and financed by GEF at the regional level,
one of
its recommended activities was: “increased regional co-operation with other
similar projects”
This is being realized through a very close cooperation
with the similar
projects in Bulgaria and Republic of Moldova
