• The project will provide for the incremental
equipment, staff training and operating costs for monitoring the impact of
environment-friendly practices on the discharge of nutrients (N & P) into
the water body. Measurements of BOD
and suspended solids will also be made.
MARA will be responsible for
monitoring at the level of the MC, while MOE will be responsible for monitoring water quality
upstream and downstream in the main river.
The central MOE laboratory in Ankara will be used to calibrate samples taken by MARA.
