•The project
aim is to increase the capacity of DDNI to participate in the research programmes of the EU and to contribute to
the social and economic
development of local comunities.
•The objective
will met by three groups of workpackages designed to:
–Increase
capacity of DDNI staff to produce high quality research and disseminate it widely to the EU research community and local users
–Activate
and extent links with other EU centers to enable the development of joint research programmes
–Improve
capacity of DDNI to aquire, administrate and manage research projects.
•The main part of the
project is planned to be accomplished by cooperation with experienced wetland centers from EU in
the field of
biodiversity conservation and sustainable development of deltas and wetlands
