Ban
on application of manure and other organic manure
during winter
•To prevent nutrient
leaching, manure
and other organic wastes
may not be applied to land in Sweden during the 1st of
December to the 28th of
February, unless they are incorporated
in the soil the same day to a depth of at least 10 cm.
• Harrowing the surface is not enough.
