Subject: Co-finance Commitment to SSSS-FM Project

This is in connection with the Sulu-Sulawesi Sea Sustainable Fisheries Management (SSSS-
FM) Project of Sulu-Sulawesi Marine Ecoregion (SSME) which has been submitted to GEF-
UNDP for funding provision.
I hereby confirmed that Indonesia is committed to provide in-kind co-financing for SSSS-
FM project which is equivalent to US $ 1,000,000 (one million US dolar) for the whole
duration of the project.
I believe that the three countries (Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippine) are in the same
wave of understanding and commitment to implement the SSSS-FM Project in a strong
partnership within the framework of the SSME cooperation with respect to the laws and
regulations of the respective countries.
Finally, we look forward to having a close collaboration with the UNDP and the GEF at the
country program level.
