The third output under this subcomponent is the development of a regional monitoring coordination capacity….[read slide]

In the last 12 months 3 major outputs have been completed under this item, being the running of the Second Tuna Data workshop in April 2008 (and a link to an outline of that workshop is provided here), the completion and distribution of the 8th edition of the monitoring newsletter “Forklength”, and the 7th Data Collection Committee Report with revised and translated data forms available on-line.

The next edition of Forklength in currently in progress, and a third tuna data workshop as well as an additional Data Collection Committee meeting are planned for 2009.
