Objectives to be Achieved Through:
1.The development of
tertiary treatment (nutrient removal) at the NBWWTP;
2.The rehabilitation
of wetlands in the Gemenc and Beda-Karapancsa areas of the Duna-Drava
National Park; and
3.The establishment
of a comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system for water
quality and environmental health allowing to measure the reduction of
nutrients and contributing to the development of an
impact evaluation methodology;
4.The project will
also finance dissemination activities to foster
replication in Hungary and other parts of the Danube Basin.
