nORDINANCE No 22 on organic production of plants, plant products and foodstuffs of plant origin and indications referring thereto on them. nORDINANCE No 35 on organic production of livestock, livestock products and foodstuffs of  animal origin and indications referring thereto on them.
Only plant protection products, fertilizers, soil conditioners, specified in Annexes 1 and 2 of Ordinance 22 are used;
The total amount of manure applied on the holding may not exceed 170 kg of nitrogen per year/hectare of agricultural area used.
The maximum number of livestock units equivalent to 170 kg of nitrogen per year/hectare of agricultural area used is laid down in Annex 12 in the ordinance 35
