Description: The United Nations Human Settlements Programme, UN-HABITAT, is the United Nations agency for human settlements. It is mandated by the UN General Assembly to promote socially and environmentally sustainable towns and cities with the goal of providing adequate shelter for all.

Water Activities: UN-Habitat is represented at IFAT 2014 by the Global Water Operators' Partnerships Alliance (GWOPA).

UN-Water Focus Area(s) : The Global Water Operators’ Partnerships Alliance is a network of partners committed to helping water operators help one another improve their collective capacity to provide access to water and sanitation services for all.
